Infection

It was spreading like no disease I had ever seen before – that much was for sure. Within two days, it had become clear to the vast population that something was very wrong… Hospitals were filling up and the side effects of the infection were closing those hospitals down even faster than that. Within five days over a third of the population had become infected and the government were giving a serious health warning. People were to stay indoors whilst the army tried to sort the problem out. Within a week, the army was over run, and people were being evacuated to ‘safety’. These people were so naïve… we had unleashed a rampant infection on the world… There was no such thing as safety anymore, only survival.
