Connor and Hayes were best friends, but ever since high school started they have drifted further and further apart.

Hayes started hanging out with a different crowd. He joined the football team and became the star player of the team by freshman year. He even has his own nickname. 'The Crimson Jet' for his speed and school colors.

Connor is bullied by Hayes' new group of friends but Hayes does nothing about it. It's tearing Connor apart and Hayes doesn't see it. And Connors at home life doesn't make it any easier.

After Hayes realizes how bad he screwed up he tries to make his way back into Connor's life, but will he be able to make things better?

This story is told in Connor's POV. Flashbacks will be told in multiple different POVs.
