Snowflake and Paige stood facing each other, the tension palpable. Snowflake's eyes were filled with hurt as she demanded, "Why can't you just be honest with me, Paige?" Paige threw her hands up in frustration, her voice rising. "I can't give you what you want! You're so damn needy, Snowflake! I can't go public because of my damn contract!" Snowflake's face twisted in anguish, her voice trembling. "So, what? I'm just supposed to hide in the shadows while you live your life?" Paige's eyes flashed with anger as she yelled, "And what about you? You think it's easy for me to deal with the fact that you're a stripper? I'm embarrassed about it, Snowflake! How do you think that makes me look?" Snowflake's eyes widened in shock, the sting of Paige's words cutting deep.
