This story is about a woman named Valarie Sinclair who has experienced dreams beyond the dream state. These occurrences have led her to believe that her dreams are real. Maybe from her past or the unforeseen future. Valarie becomes deeper involved with her visions sending her on the brink of obsession. After having one dream that left her coughing up smoke Valarie stumbles on a past life filled with deep dark secrets. A past that leads her on a mission to solve a 20-yr old murder-suicide. When those secrets begin to dredge up her own family's history "dark forces" at work want her to stop seeing visions permanently.
