Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life. Along the way through space, it gained awareness of its surroundings so it was now able to choose what to do with this odd planet. Consume or Explore . . . It's the late 21st century, and animatronics are everywhere, especially in schools. These robots were programmed to help children learn, and to be personable - That's it. But some have exceeded their original programming and are beginning to rebel. Update: I changed the cover to make it look more professional... I might change it again, who knows... Update: Yeah, I didn't like the other one... This is a picture of the original four. Update (July 30th): Sorry for not updating in some time; I had robotics and pottery classes for a couple weeks which left me a little too tired to write. :P Update (September): Mantid and this story are in the same universe, this one is just later in the timeline. I will write more stories in the timeline after I finish this one.Complete
