Mature
16 year old, Chanel Ryder, lives a wonderful life. Her parents are wealthy, she's popular, and she's an only child. She gets whatever she wants, whenever she wants, including for spring break a trip to Paris, France. However, on their flight back from France the plane crashes. Her mother and father both died in the crash, she is now the only living relative. When she makes it back to New York City, her father's best friend is the one who is written in the will to take care of her if anything like this should happen. She has never met her father's best friend or his family and is quite nervous at the fact of living with them. Her father has told her that he has many children and that they live on a ranch in a small town in Texas. What will it be like there? Definitely nothing like New York, will she even fit in? Will she like her father's best friend's children? Does he have any daughters? Will they even accept her? Will she end up crying herself to sleep every night?

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
