This is the story of the "empty hearted" 4th year college student, Alice A. Dela Cruz, when the last year of school was ending.
Her whole life has she been feeling empty since her mother had died when Alice was still a teen. And even though she had her family and friends with her, she still felt quite empty without her mother being there. She too, began to change when her mother passed away. They say that she over-works herself at times than before, always relaxing and giving herself sometime to think; she usually has a serious face on than before, always happy and smiling no matter what; but that was until she met Markus Y. Carriedo who was into culinary and helping his father out in his bussiness involving food.
While helping out her favorite teacher, Ms. Margo who teaches science, carrying her books to the teachers lounge when suddenly bumping into Markus who Alice found out that he was the son of her favorite teacher, filled Alice's heart with joy and hope.
They then became friends and began to grow closer to each other. Feelings perhaps, began to grow over time. Markus wanted to know her better so he also made friends with her friends. He learned that she was quite "empty" after the death of her mother.
But then, graduation was growing closer and both of them had to concentrate on studies, trying not to be distracted by love.
But it was hard. Alice, having to know that they might need part because of work, was a thing that she has kept into her mind ever since she met Markus and even though she knew that kind of thing would happen, she didn't want to lose him yet.
But the thing is, will Markus ever fill-up that broken, empty heart of alice, can they be together in the future, can they survive this roller coaster that goes up and down for them?
