Welcome! It seems as though you have stumbled upon this book. May you feel free to read on without fear of being physically attacked; however I cannot speak for emotional distress that rips into your brain and scar you with tragedy that you will never recover from... I'm not sure how you'd achieve such a state from just mere words though but hey; what would I know? You may be wondering what this book is all about; what is Broken Haven? Just read the book. What happens in this story? Just read the book. Is this story any good? Just read the book. You see where I'm going with this? Fantastic. I like to believe you're more intelligent than the average human; it makes me feel as though I'm not talking to a brick wall, even if at the end of the day I am. Actually let me rephrase that; I'm not talking to the brick wall, I'm scrawling words on it for someone to later find. I'm rambling. I do honestly apologise. This happens a lot; I go on trails and they just don't end unless I forcibly stop myself. The best I can give you is that it's set in the year twenty-twenty-nine. I will be your eyes on this spooky and haunting adventure into the mind of people. At this point I'd be waving my hands and wiggling my fingers but they seem to have mysteriously disappeared. Ah, I seem to have forgotten that they were never there. At least not in the traditional sense. Enough chit chat. Let's began; shall we? I ask that as though it's something you could reply to, however that will never be the case! Graffiti this book with all the writing you could imagine; go on, I dare you! What will change? Nothing. I promised myself I'd stop doing this but alas it is impossible. LET'S START.

(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
