Welcome! It seems as though you have stumbled upon this book. May you feel free to read on without fear of being physically attacked; however I cannot speak for emotional distress that rips into your brain and scar you with tragedy that you will never recover from... I'm not sure how you'd achieve such a state from just mere words though but hey; what would I know?
You may be wondering what this book is all about; what is Broken Haven? Just read the book. What happens in this story? Just read the book. Is this story any good? Just read the book. You see where I'm going with this? Fantastic. I like to believe you're more intelligent than the average human; it makes me feel as though I'm not talking to a brick wall, even if at the end of the day I am. Actually let me rephrase that; I'm not talking to the brick wall, I'm scrawling words on it for someone to later find. I'm rambling. I do honestly apologise. This happens a lot; I go on trails and they just don't end unless I forcibly stop myself. The best I can give you is that it's set in the year twenty-twenty-nine.
I will be your eyes on this spooky and haunting adventure into the mind of people. At this point I'd be waving my hands and wiggling my fingers but they seem to have mysteriously disappeared. Ah, I seem to have forgotten that they were never there. At least not in the traditional sense.
Enough chit chat. Let's began; shall we? I ask that as though it's something you could reply to, however that will never be the case! Graffiti this book with all the writing you could imagine; go on, I dare you! What will change? Nothing. I promised myself I'd stop doing this but alas it is impossible. LET'S START.

Re-posting. The common story is that finding a mate is supposed to make the wolf stronger. For an alpha, finding his mate, blessed by the moon goddess, strengthens the pack. But there can be such darkness hidden in that dynamic. Even those of cruel hearts can seek the power of a mate. And the damage they cause might not ever be healed. ***** Prologue: Drip. Drip. Drip. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done. Only then, could there be any comfort from hell. ***** WARNING- This story does delve into topics of kidnapping, imprisonment, rape, murder, and violence. Though the scenes are not explicitly detailed, underage readers are discouraged. Also note that I do not own the rights to any photos I have or might post for this story. Just photos I found online, cropped and edited. The story however, is all mine. No copy of content is permitted.

"Yes, you are. Don't you have any shame?" "Shame?" I asked, confused with what shame has to do with being jealous. "Yes, shame. Don't you have any shame for yourself? You're jealous of a woman being with your mate who wants nothing to do with you. Isn't that pathetic?" he asks, shocking me with his cruel words. "Why would you say something like that?" I ask, feeling my voice shake. "Because if you've forgotten your place. You're my destined mate, but you will never be my chosen mate," he says, venom dripping with every word. I can't hold the tears any longer, so I quickly run away from him. I can't spend another second close to him. I wish I didn't have a mate. ************** Liz has been told to reject her mate all her life, but her mom refuses to explain why. One day Liz meets her mate and does the opposite. Invisible Line by skyline-freedom

For this book, I could never expect many people to read it. But this book could be written by my own experiences. It is full of politic, cultural thinking, or thoughts on value attitude. It may is shown in chaotic ways. Yes, it is right, just like what we think or behave in this world I feel lost sometimes and then be organized, later turn into chaos again. In this time, many of us could miss the classic life style in the past time. But we have to say chaos has become a part of our life especially when invisible lines begin to appear constantly or show more power in this era. The process of writing this book is also the process of author achieve his own peace, admittedly getting peaceful has become the most luxury thing in this increasingly chaotic world. These invisible lines could never give people this. I know these lines will be crossed or stepped by the power of real freedom. At least, the author know that he could never see that happen. But at least one person like me will expose it and give hints for people to find these lines, the power behind them, combat them and succeed finally. Yes, maybe we lose freedom finally no matter we pursue it how hard, at least we achieve it with our full heart. One day when we leave, we could say we may be not the person give the whole light to this world, at least, we have been the person holding the torch to myself and people around me, the reader. Maybe I am not strong enough like the brave ancestors beating those who hiding the truth, making fool of people for keeping their power. But at least, I could stand out for telling the truth. After reading, you may have different understanding of what are these invisible lines. But you know they are indeed existent in your daily life. But I have to tell you they may become more powerful when you realize their existence just like what they do to me. They strengthen their power to people who have been awake.

ONCE my mom told me that we, as humans, only fear what we do not know and that that is the sole reason for violence. We do not know what is to come of something, so in retaliation we immediately fight it off before we can ever find out; before we can ever see if there is any beauty in it. My mom is gone now. Along with any sanity we as a people have left. The year is 2193, and the world is at war. We, humans, are at war with each other only because of what we are and what we can do. We fear what we do not know, thus all we know is ignorance. The government, our democracy, our people and our world have fallen. Nothing good ever comes from being afraid of the abnormalities of others, especially when those abnormalities are amazing. The truth is, none of us are normal. Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. A U T H O R ' S N O T E : This book is completed and there will be a second book coming out sometime next year, most likely in the summer. Please excuse any grammar issues or misspellings I have. I hope there are not many, but please consider I do all of the editing myself. Also this is a revised edition of Incapable - Book I: The Fallen. I think I have made it much better than the original story I wrote in the summer of this year and posted only a few months ago. I hope you enjoy! Happy reading. Xoxo, Miquéla P.S. I'm more than open to Q & A in the comments section or on my board if you have any questions regarding the book or just in general. :)
Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN ) by Mentally-Insane

(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
