Being the youngest Waterflower sister isn't as glamorous as it sounds. While Misty is off chasing her dreams with Ash and Brock, Ariel is stuck in Cerulean City under the watchful eyes of her older sisters-who see her as nothing more than the baby they can push around. But Ariel doesn't want to be a Gym Leader. She doesn't want to battle. Her heart belongs to Pokémon breeding, to healing and helping instead of fighting. Inspired by Brock's kindness and her own gentle spirit, Ariel dreams of a different life...one her sisters mock and refuse to accept. Her only comfort? A secret gift from her mother-the Legendary Pokémon Suicune, sworn to protect her. But keeping Suicune hidden is dangerous, and Ariel knows if her sisters ever discover him, they'll turn him into a weapon. Trapped, desperate, and longing for Misty to return, Ariel clings to hope. But how long can she hold on before everything shatters?
