In a world of modern magic, the Kingdom of Lucis is the only remaining country under the protection of a crystal. Cordia Felix serves none other than the royal family, namely Noctis Lucis Caelum, Crown Prince and heir to the Lucis throne after his father, King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII. 
      
  Lucis is a powerful kingdom which flourishes under the King's reign. It still bears the traditions and beliefs of the old ways, and their magic is greater than what remains of the world outside of the Empire of Niflheim. 
      
   After warring for many years with Lucis, Niflheim walk a guileful path, and set in motion a series of events which turn the life of Cordia upside down and thrusts her and everyone she knows and loves into a world of chaos, violence and deceit. 
      
  Accepting destiny and realising her heritage, Cordia steps up to fight death itself to save those she loves and help restore order to Lucis.  Alongside her allies and future king, Noctis, they aim to take back the stolen throne and end the war once and for all.
