Set in the future.150 people live on a space station, sent to colonize an inhabitable planet. Space travel has been deemed as safe as flying in a commercial airplane. Transporting such a large number of civilians requires a large aircraft/space station known as Phantom Tango 2-9. The flight is set for three years. In this time, people's lives must continue. The space station, Phantom, is established as small community filled with services such as schools and continued careers in the areas of research, agriculture, and assembly. The civilians are protected by members of the military known as Shadows. Shadows are specially trained soldiers whose sole purpose is to monitor the behavior of the civilians as well as guard the Phantom. They are extremely strong and seem almost emotionless to the civilians. They remain on the outermost edges of the community earning them their name, Shadow, because they are quiet and are instructed to not engage with civilians unless necessary.

In 2042, humanity's greatest ambition becomes reality: the colonization of Mars. A multinational team races to establish a settlement on the towering slopes of Olympus Mons before rival factions claim the planet. But the chosen site holds a dark secret. Explorations uncover a cavern where the colony's main dome was to be built - a cavern that shouldn't exist. Stranger still, it moves. Inside lies an impossibility: a human skeleton, far older than any Earthly missions to Mars. And scrawled on the cavern wall, four cryptic words that defy explanation. What begins as a pioneering mission to secure humanity's future spirals into a nightmare of unraveling sanity and relentless mystery. Trapped millions of miles from Earth, the crew must confront the truth of what they've found - and what it means for all of humanity. The next shuttle home won't arrive for a year. Can they survive long enough to unravel the secret of Mars? Or will the Red Planet claim them too?
