Cherry, Atticus, Mo, Patch, Oddball, and Colette travel to Manhattan in New York to meet the legendary American Dragon who is the grandson of Drell's old friend known as Lao Shi. They are given dragon abilities and must solve a hunting mystery which alternates Cherry and Atticus's relationship and may even cost everybody their lives.
