An unlikely team is created when FBI agents Mulder and Scully meet TV Producer Zak Bagans, and join in an investigation of two recent and linked murders. Little did they know that the killer is closer to them than they think. ||: James and Logan are biological half-brothers, but in today's society they are just two strangers who became best friends. They've been around for a while; they've had many different things go on in their lives. They're not even human. They're vampires. When one of them goes to long without hunting and accidently kills one of the other guys, the band splits up and the brothers go into hiding. ||: Will the team figure out that these boys, friend and lover of the victim, are really his killer?

But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day.
