Do you ever stop for a moment just to take in everything around you? To take notice of the little things that you take for granted. Perhaps the way that your mother just knows what you want for dinner. Or the way that a person you have seen a few times smiles at you in recognition. Or even the way a stranger takes the time to greet you as you walk by them. Well, I didn't. I never noticed what my mother did, I just expected it. I never smiled back to that person, instead I looked on in confusion; wondering why this person I had never spoken to felt the need to look so happy at the sight of me. And I definitely never said hi to the stranger. If I'm being perfectly honest, I never did much at all. But now... Now I don't have choice. I can never do anything to acknowledge the little 'unimportant' actions people took despite my cold replies. I didn't do anything. And that, by far, is my greatest regret. Now I have a secret that no one knows. And it means that I have no one left to turn to. Nothing to lose.

"You don't love me, you can't love me." My body shakes uncontrollably as I fall to the ground, sobbing into my hands as I try to muffle the sound desperately. "Just let me love you, I can't love you if you won't allow me to idiot," a whisper echoes through the walls as he squats down next to me, placing his hand on my back, rubbing, small, reassuring circles. ... After her parents kick her out to go live with her grandparents, she moves back to her hometown hoping that no one will recognize her. Hyunjin felt betrayed when Y/n left, she left without a goodbye and didn't speak a single word to him in the past four years. Without her around, he grew close to Chan's group of friends. The summer before high school started, Hyunjin and his friends matured and all the girls in school found them attractive. They fought for the boys attention but Hyunjin only thought of Y/n regardless of all the pining girls. He hated that she constantly ran through his mind, wishing he could just forget about her. As everyone walks into their 4th period, two people catch each other's gaze. One feels guilt bubble up in their stomach and the other boils with resentment.

She was about to touch me but my body acted on its own, I move backward. Seeing her this close and that pity look in her eyes makes my heart breaks and offended even more. "We don't really talk now, why are you curious now?" I can't help myself but answer in sarcasm. This setting is really tiring and obviously new to me. I can't recognize and get a hold of myself, and any moment now I might burst out, right now, right here. I don't even really care now if the camera is actually recording us. I felt the need to go somewhere. I need space to breathe. I need to walk away from her now because I know when it hurts , I can't control my feelings let alone my stupid self. "Excuse me! I need to use the restroom." She nodded without tearing her eyes off me. And, that's my que to walk away. No turning back this time.
