When Chanel goes back home, after spending 4 years in a different state for college, she finds that her childhood best friend is not the same as when she left. Having to spend another year in college where she was hoping they would both spend it together she faces trouble in both her love and social life.
Nolan loves his carefree player life, never worrying about having a serious relationship and just felling his needs with one-night stands. Ever since he entered college he is known as the heartbreaker and never regrets any of it. Little does everyone know that behind that player image he puts up he was heartbroken and never wants a repeat of it, he has made it so he never goes through pain again. It's been 4 years since he's started this life and yet will a sudden visit from his childhood best friend make him change his ways into his old sweet, charming and caring self that he is inside.
