Amy is a simple girl, she loves life some days and hates it others. One day while walking with some friends something happens, something that most people never believe could happen to them. A black van pulls up to her while her friends and her walk home from the bowling rink and take her in the dark night. Now it's a constant struggling between getting saved or becoming one more child on a missing poster. All the while trying to stay away from the disturbing interest one of her kidnappers has taken on her. Now it is all up to saving Amy.

The sounds overwhelm me and I don't know what to do. I watch as the people swarm around me talking, but I can't hear them. I am watching the screen. I see myself in the recording, but what I see is not what I remember. I look at the woman with hope in her eyes. "That's not me." I state matter-of-factly, but I can't even convince myself. I see myself and I know that it's me, but it didn't happen. I see the hope drain from the woman's eyes. "Come on Laney, don't you remember?" A tall blonde boy asks me with desperation evident in his voice. "I'm sorry, but um, that's not what happened. And my name is not Laney." I look down, not wanting to see the pain in his eyes. He seemed familiar, it was hard to hurt him, but there was nothing I could do. They had the wrong girl. The doctor ushers them out of the room again and I hear her whisper to them as they leave, "We can try again tomorrow." Then I am left once again in the white room with nothing, no one.
