Kinsley Gregory was your average 15 year old. Was. At least, before. After, everything is different.
When she experiences a hostage situation at school in which many of her classmates are shot and killed, life for Kinsley seperates into before and after. What happened inside the school is a story everyone knows, how she saved a bunch of here friends and is a hero. But Kinsley doesn't feel like a hero. Especially since her best friend Kale Green was involved and Kinsley is the only one who knows how exaclty. And the only person who gets what she feels is the most popular guy in school, who also happened to be her worst enemy.
As she struggles with the truth and what really happened to Kale and her, she has to find out the truth about her enemies, herself, and everything she has ever known.

Her best friend is turning against her, and she's starting to recieve horrible nightmares that are connected with her life and the death of her dad. She starts believing that her nightmares give out answers to her dad's death and her future, and she starts to distrust people. And although this seems nearly impossible, and becomes a long journey, Heather is challenged by her school shrink to change and show her mom and little sister that she can turn into her old self again, that is, if she's willing to cooperate with getting help to change, in the blink of an eye.Complete
