The dragons were thought to be stories of old, and memories long forgotten. However, that was before Eerika came to Skyrim. In this land torn by war and myth, not only must she face the monsters that plague the land, but she must also face herself to become who she was meant to be.

Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.

My story is ONLY available on W A T T P A D, if you're reading this on ANY other website but here, then DO NOT READ IT BECAUSE IT IS A STOLEN COPY!!! This is a WIP, it's not quite finished, this note will be removed when story is complete!* Druthza is a simple Argonian from Black Marsh, her childhood spent learning all about her race's history, their relationships with the other races of Tamriel... and the Dovah. She had a somewhat unhealthy obsession surrounding the dragons, almost every waking moment she would study all she could on them, learning their language and dreaming of seeing a dragon for herself. But, there were no more dragons... or were there? After crossing the border into Skyrim from Cyrodiil, Druthza is captured alongside a few Stormcloaks and shipped off to Helgen, her fate destined to be sealed via the chopping block. Abruptly, her world is turned on its head as she was soon able to escape Helgen after Alduin, the World Eater himself, attacks the village, bringing it to its knees. Soon, Druthza is in for the journey of a lifetime as she quickly discovers who she really is: the Dragonborn, slayer of the World Eater, killer of dragons... but she can't bring herself to accept that job, she would never hurt a Dovah. Will Druthza fulfill her fate the way she desires? Or will the perils of being a Dragonborn take her life instead? ___________________________________ Copyright© 2022-2024 You are NOT allowed, under any circumstances, to post this anywhere else without my express permission. Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***
