Hi guys! Fangirlwithalaptop here!
I have been invited to participate in a prestigious writing competition. I can hand in one poem and one short piece, non-fiction or fiction. I was hoping that you guys could help me choose what I'd hand in to the competition.
Please vote for the pieces you like best, I will be writing more but I'll start you off with a few options.
Not even sure if any of you will read or care, but I'll give it a shot anyway. :)
Lots of love,

A list of prompts by @septic-bella on tumblr for May! It's in honor of the chaos in May 2018 on JackSepticEye's Youtube channel, but it's technically free-for-all in any art form (I might draw some stuff and post the pictures as chapters instead of writing prompts). SmackDown: Back to Our Roots
Our previous two SmackDowns were both massive successes, and it's high time for another. You might remember the last one was heavy on the "game" elements, maybe even too heavy. This time we're going back to the basics and keeping it simple. It's just a motherfuckin' sci-fi SmackDown: a heated writing contest where contestants are given text-, music- and visual-based prompts, and then they need to write a short story around that, following which they're judged for their efforts and either move on to the next round or they get eliminated from the competition. But there's gotta be some kind of twist, right? For this one we're waxing nostalgic, we're looking back into our past. We're going back to our roots.Complete

04Lonewolf's Short Stories
This book is essentially just a compilation of all my short stories that I've written over the last couple of years. Story titles with '🏷️' are inspired by a short story prompt or other literary work, whilst ones with '📙' are stories purely from my own imagination. Ones with '🧩' may be an excerpt from a larger story I'm working on, but can still be considered as a short story by itself. Also just letting you know in advance that I wrote quite a few of these when I was younger and they are really bad 😅. Well, even my recent ones aren't the best. All I'm saying is... these are my very rough drafts, so read at your own risk, and please be positive or feel free to (politely) point out any mistakes so I can make them better :) Enjoy! (WARNING: Please do not copy any of these without permission! If you see someone else using these ideas, please let me know, because these are all my own work.) Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.Complete
Just a Bottle of Fairy Dust
Hi guys! This is just me trying to write a few short stories. I got a lil' tired of long ones and this book will be many stories compiled into one. The stories inside will most probably my imagination being written out after it has been living in a hole in my brain for ages. Sometimes, I even write the stories about songs so... please support me by voting, commenting and fanning! 1. Genre: Romance / Teen Fiction / Short Story 2. Each story will be one chapter's worth. 3. Each story WILL be completed before publishing, so one published chapter = one published story. 4. Criticism is welcome, but please try to stay nice. 5. No guarantee of being updated frequently. Sorry about that. 6. Please comment and vote! Encouraging me will not only boost my ego but my updates as well. 7. Copyrighted, I did not and will never steal other people's ideas; all stories are my own. 8. Please enjoy!Complete
