World War Cadence

In this short story, Cadence, a fun

hometown girl has her life changed

when she is forced to move away from

her home in Portage, Indiana, to Crown

Point, Indiana. Crown Point did not

seem to have much to offer, but Cadence

wanted to make the most of it. She

admitted to her new bestie, Alyssa, that

she was having a difficult time fitting in.

As Aly guides her around the school,

Cadence eventually sees HIM-as in Trey

Walker-and she knew that he was

unmistakably the cutest guy in her

school by far. Unfortunately, Lila

Stratton, her worst enemy, had taken an

interest in Trey too. Cadence notices and

realizes it is now or never...
