"01176 can't be aware of her abilities, the consequences are too severe. Deprive her of knowledge and love, she is a monster, there is no need to show her compassion. She is a tool for our convenience, nothing more, nothing less."

"Why don't we simply kill her already."

"No, there is a possibility of manipulating her powers into machinery and new technology, she is indeed dangerous, but too important to die, we solve this problem by keeping her in isolation, that's all there is to it."

White walls, locked doors, and the overbearing scent of cleanliness and medicine that Isra has come to hate is all she can manage to remember about her life as it is. She has no identity, only a number to validate her existence and the constant anger she feels towards the scientists that lead her through countless excruciatingly painful experiments that wring her sanity dry. Isra realizes that her pointless and painful life is slowly leading her to a breaking point she has no control over.

(COMPLETED | UNDER EDITING) Fresh out of college, Veronica Odair is hired as a forensic scientist at the infamous B.E.A.R. Laboratories. She is put to work on the classified Tekula Project, but certain events lead her to question her job. What is so dangerous about Level 5? Why do her tests come back increasingly strange? What secrets are B.E.A.R. Laboratories hiding? Veronica plans to find out. ▪▪▪ Brown eyes, nearly obscured by rich locks of dark hair, stare into my light green ones with an intensity which nearly causes my knees to wobble. I can hear nothing but the thudding of my heart beating wildly in my chest, the sounds of the sirens turning into white noise at the back of my mind. I back up until my spine connects with the elevator doors. I shiver as my bare arms come in contact with the cool metal. "Someone help me, please," I beg. The man stalks closer still. His eyes are fixed solely on me, unmoving, intense. His fists are clutched tightly against his sides, as though restraining himself in some way. Restraining himself from what, I don't want to know. The man stops only an arm's length away from me. I stare up at him with wide eyes, my lips parted in fear. I stand frozen, unable to move. I shut my eyes, turning my head away. Laboured breathing, the touch of fingertips on my bare shoulder, breath on my lips. A heavy, deep inhale. Slow exhale. A forehead against mine, shaky hands cupping the back of my neck, fingertips sliding into my red locks. My eyes open to meet the warmest pair of honey eyes. Cover by AnnaCharles16 #4 in ROMANCE? "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged. I seriously doubted she would suddenly pop up as a result of their abusive tactics. Instead of explaining my circumstances, driven by a bizarre combination of adrenaline and fatigue, I leaned back on my heels and sent the largest loogie I'd ever conjured flying over and landing squarely between the eyes of the man before me. oOoOoOoOoOo As a late bloomer who was incapable of shifting yet, let alone making any contact with her wolf, Olive Ludovic's life was not off to the best start. Growing up, constantly being tormented and taunted by those around her forced Olive to grow a tough skin and work even harder, despite the fact she was without her wolf. When her home is taken over by a dark pack, life seems to only get worse for Olive as it is quickly discovered that her mate is none other than Matteo, the Alpha of the very pack that was terrorizing her people. It seems to her, that life is just a little bit easier for Olive the Other Werewolves. oOoOoOo hello! just fyi there will be mature language and content as the book progresses so i'm letting ya know now ;) HIGHEST WEREWOLF RANKING = 2, LOVE RANKING = 3 (out of 1.8 million books XD), MAGIC RANKING = 1, ROMANCE RANKING = 1 (out of 1.5 million books XD), VAMPIRE RANKING =1!

"They are so... dead," Theara look up from her bloodied hands and grabbed a fistfull of her hair as she shuddered. "I killed them?" she angled her head as she observed her classmates' corpses with fascination. "I know this looks bad Levi, but I had to do it." "No, you really didn't," he clenched his jaw in attempt to hold down his rage as he leaned down to close his best friend's eyes. His icy blue eyes narrowed as they searched her pale green eyes skeptically. "There is no way you can sugercoat what you just did, Theara. And then on top of it all, your excuse is nothing short of crazy. You're a murderer." She wanted to argue, but the evidence spoke for itself. She was a mess. Vulnerable.
