"The Year was 1857, and it was an unusually hot fall day in the little town of Callieburg, Texas. With a population of 307 people, Callieburg was the smallest town on this side of Texas. Despite the unseasonable heat, there were young children running up and down the dirt roads. Women were gossiping, sitting in rocking chairs in front of Jackson's General Store, drinking sweet tea. There were the occasional families riding in wagons, were just passing through, perhaps going to a town further west."
Callieburg is a pretty typical Western town, but, just like most towns in the 1800s, it has it's own share of dangers.
Sonny and Jeweldean McAurthur enjoy their ranch life on their 2,600 acres. With a growing family, Sonny works nearly twenty fours hours a day, seven days a week, just so his family can get by.
However, when Sonny is involved in a freak accident, he is captured by some nasty bandits, and sees the bad, dangerous side of Callieburg.
The trek for Sonny to find his way back home to his beloved family will not be easy. With God on his side, will Sonny be able find his way home, or will the journey back be too treacherous?

It's also written in country/western lingo so some things won't seem grammatically correct. Also, this book is based on the Wild West time period (1865-1895). Southern Charm by anj6232
26 parts Complete Mature
Jessie White stands out from the crowd. As a Southern woman, she defies the typical expectations for a twenty-four-year-old. While others her age might be in college or embarking on new careers, Jessie's upbringing on a ranch alongside four brothers equipped her with skills many would balk at. She's adept at horseback riding, calving, stall cleaning, and more. Fiercely independent, Jessie refuses to rely on any man, a resolve hardened after heartbreak at the hands of Max Lane, a rancher's son, two years prior. Jessie has resolved to take up bull riding, a skill that appears to be a family legacy. Her lifelong dream has been to ride a bull before an audience, but now, her ambition has shifted to rescuing the White Family Ranch after a substantial portion of their funds vanished and debts began accumulating. Max Lane's family is eager to buy the White Family Ranch, but Jessie refuses to let him take away the one thing that sustains her. Being a beauty bartender owner and a female bull rider makes things challenging. Everyone says she can't do it because she's a woman, but Jessie is determined to prove them all wrong. Initially skeptical, Trace Black doesn't recognize her potential until he witnesses her mount a bull for the first time. Although he may appear arrogant externally, that pales in comparison to his internal complexity. Trace and Jessie are initially oblivious to their chemistry, though it's evident to everyone around them. As Jessie gathers the courage to express her feelings to Trace, the things she dreads occur. However, it doesn't make matters worse; it alters everything profoundly. *WARNING* Book contains language, child loss, trauma, etc. Thank you for choosing my story! Wild As They Come -

9 parts Complete

Some would say Dallas Winston is as wild as they come, and most would be right. But when Ponyboy starts hanging around him and they becomes closer than Dal was with Johhny well Tulsa had never seen a power couple so fierce. Sequel - Wild Roses & Thorn Bushes Part 1 of the Changin' Times In Tulsa Series ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I tried something new this time, I wrote everything before I even thought of posting. I also stopped trying to force the flowy writing I am only graced with every blue moon and wrote how it was comfortable. I also edited the way the Outsiders took place so this fic isn't totally canon nor is the canon era completely compliant with history but I did do my research on the dumb things like paper plates. Anyways I present all 10 chapters today, and any feed back is welcome! Also posted on my Ao3
