Maggie has just arrived in the coastal town of Cartagena to start a new life with her little brother. After her tragic past, she is determined to lie low and avoid any form of trouble. And that means avoiding Stazz, an infamous DJ who has a knack for leaving trouble anywhere he goes. But life seems to have a different plan for her because yet and yet again, she finds herself gravitating toward Stazz. And like a moth drawn to light, she allowed herself to be lured; despite knowing that one day, it might eventually kill her. Stazz has secrets. One of them is looking alive despite feeling dead inside. He endures life through his love for music and the early morning beach view from his hometown, Cartagena. Meeting Maggie, the new girl with her beautiful singing and soft gaze, reminded him of both. With her, life seems easy, there is hope, and he starts to live again---until one by one, his secrets start to catch up with them. A story about two rejects, lost and wandering. Until one particular town, one particular beat, crossed their ruined roads and made them realize that life isn't as horrible as they thought it was.

The thing about Kashina Eve Natividad is you'll never see her struggling. People though, don't realize that just because she appears strong, quiet, and calm doesn't mean she doesn't have much to say. She'll never be your favorite sunshines or sunrises. Your joys and laughter. Your grass that is greener. The music that makes you dance. Your freshly crisp bedsheets. The excitement you feel when your favorite food is ready to be served. But she will be your thunderstorms and lightnings. Your sweat and loneliness. Your clouds that are too gray. The silence that drifts you to sleep. Your iron and the curls you tried to straighten. The drop in your stomach. Her silence are too loud from someone who sees the best in her. She's the girl sitting in a chair straightly with a neutral expression and is actually screaming in her head. Maddox Rae Peñaloza tried so hard not to approach her and say, "𝘐 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶." And she will be seen like never before.
