[BOOK THREE] "Falling in love was never a plan, Minnie." I sighed, fingers reaching up to rub my temples as I blinked my very translucent eyelids. "I was never courting death. No pun intended. And now I'm quite literally a few thousand feet underground, possibly dead, and in love with an eon-old spirit. And thus losing herself, and her friends, forever. How hard could it be? After all, Addison didn't need to worry about being stabbed in the back again (in every sense of the word).
