Carolina Hendrix has had a rough go of life. She lost her family at a young age due to a terrible driving accident. 

Following this, she makes the worst decision of her life by hopping into the car of a drunken driver at the age of 23. The car crashes and she loses her right leg from the knee down. 

She's now an alcoholic that drowns her sorrows in one night stands, but what happens when she starts to fall for the hunky mechanic that just moved in next door?


Remington 'Remi' Decker has just moved back into town and is the proud new owner of his father's old mechanic shop. His old man has decided to retire early, so he steps up to the plate. 

He's 28 and is suffering with the loss of his wife and the mother to his 3 year old daughter, Everly. He's had a hard time moving on from it, especially while caring for his daughter, but his new neighbor has peaked his interest.
