Lorrayne Baker or Rayne for short is... for lack of better word, odd. She see things no one else sees, never really speaks to anyone, including her family and has always had always had her head far from on the ground. She has always lived the life dreamers often live, in dream land. No one really understands the goings of her mind and most of the time, she is really too occupied daydreaming to care. Something no one knows is that Lorraine keeps a secret diary no one knows about to write down all of her wishes, dreams and secrets, including her long time crush on her older brother's best friend Derek Reed. What will happen when Derek's too curious eyes lead him to discover a certain young dreamer's secret diary? Only one way to find out.

Her weight. Her life. She may have a slightly unhealthy relationship with food, but she's fine. At least, that's what she tells herself. Then he comes along - the one she swore she would never let in again. His mind is an enigma. But maybe he's not as bad as she thought. Or maybe he's even worse, she can't decide. As their senior year progresses, secrets become harder to keep in the dark. She's losing control. And so is he. But sometimes losing control is a good thing.
