Danny McKinley- a teen who plasters a mask on to his face in order to hide dark secrets. His forced out laughter drown out his pained voice and the grumbling of his stomach. Elliot Caiola- another teen who covers himself with a mask, unsurprisingly. With the glares he constantly shoots, you can't possibly decipher the fear and frustration hidden behind them. His lack of identity is the source of his feelings. Two different people with two different reasons to have a mask. What could possibly happen when they meet? *** Every single person has worn a mask before, whether it be to hide sadness or hide their true colours. So if we all do this, how come it's so hard to spot a single forced smile? The pain hidden beneath that laugh is so unbearable, the lies being told daily just gets sickening. The reason behind doing so can be easily forgotten in the sea of their thoughts, and they're left in a shell of a person who was once brimming with life. Either that or they live a lie, forcing themselves to be someone they aren't. Where's happiness then? Far gone, I'm afraid. Where's their sadness? Beneath the mask, but you don't notice. Most people don't even know how much more painful it is when pain can't be seen or hidden away. It's as if pain only exists when we shed tears or attain physical injuries. The thoughts in their heads prove all that to be wrong. So tell the kids who repeatedly paint a smile on the mask, tell them that everything will be fine. Better yet, tell them that you'd be there. Go on, lie to them, let those fibs roll off your tongue with such ease. Because they've been lied to before, and they won't fall for it again. For the trust has been gone since their transition into the far more dangerous "real world". But that was a lie too. The real world is nothing but a bear trap. And they are the wounded bears who were lured there. Now they have to take matters into their own hands.

Also, this is a boyxboy story, so if you don't like hot steamy action between two boys, this is not the story for you. If you don't like it you shouldn't even be reading this anyway and I will not tolerate hate. You do not choose your sexuality and no one else has the right to make someone feel bad about who they are. Also, if any of you are having problems, or the story has triggered you, please inbox me. I love to hear from my readers.
