Heather Alins, a 16 year old book worm, is diagnosed with leukemia and is told by her doctor that she has only 1 year to live. But Heathers meaning of 'live' is much differant then her only friends. David decides to show her what living really is, making Heather do what she thought was imposible. To fall in love.
