You and your friend are secretly mermaids. So, what do you do? Keep it a secret. That's exactly what Leah and Amanda did but how long will this secret last? Will they get caught? What will happen to them if they do get caught?
Leah and Amanda are two 15 year old girls and the best of friends. One day they decided to go swimming at a nearby pool on a hot summer day. When they jumped in, something completely unexpected happened. Now they are stuck in the pool until the area is clear. When dried off, the two girls go to do some research about what they can find about what mermaids are capable of. What will they find out? So many questions to ask and so many answers.

A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. I did drown, or rather I started to, but then a bright light shown down on me during a full moon and turned me into a mermaid, one drop and 10 secs later a tail. I love it! I immediately saw a huge shark. I screamed. I surfaced and looked around at the girls. "Guys there's a shark!!" I cried. "I knew it!!" Eliza said. "Look there it is!!" Alex cried. Jordan meets Angel one day on his Dad's yacht and he immediately falls in love with her. He's excited that Angel is one of the lucky few who were chosen for the luxury experience. When they arrive at the Forbidden Island, he's excited to show Angel and the students the tour of the Island, while staying away from a certain area. The Forbidden Island is said to hold a dark past. Angel and her friends leave the yacht and accidentally gets left behind when the yacht leaves. So they have to find a way off the Forbidden Island but it's more difficult than they thought.
