Ex- Special Forces Alpha unit Agent Athena Wattsman caught herself in the middle of a mob war and became the number one suspect in killing the infamous Mafiso Mob king. Her life flushed out in the toilet in just a blink of an eye. Lucky for her, there is one man who possessed the necessary skills and means to keep her alive for the time being and hopefully for good. And his name is Ranger, her ex-lover from another life whom she swears from the river Styx not to contact ever again. Her chances for his help were very slim, but she tried it anyway. No stone left unturned right?


 And on top of it, Stephanie Plum, his current girlfriend, was tailing her ass for being an FTA for carrying concealed and assaulting a night cop.


 Athena has more pressing issues than lusting after a man from her past and the pain in the ass of a girlfriend of his. But in her first night, Ranger made her remember how they were perfectly good to each other in bed and how they completely drive each other nuts out of it and in the process ruining her plans.


Would she give Ranger another round?


What about Carter? He loves her and she likes him. 


God help her, control her freaking hormones.
