One day at a concert Scotty Ford was working his post by the stage as a bodyguard, when he accidentally gets his knife caught on his cuff. Killing a little girl named Emily. Emily's sister, Bre Miller, never forgave herself that day. She thought it was all her fault. She didn't know the real story. Scotty never wanted her to know. But he didn't remember her face, or her name. 3 1/2 years later they end up at the same college, with the same homeroom. Completely oblivious to who each other is, until they are working together on a project and their pasts begin to arise.
