A young girl is born into a family that wants to pretend she does not exist. Her father has a taste for hurting just her. She cries out for someone to help her and gets a response she does not expect. It's a ghostly face in the mirror. The Girl has no idea that her journey will include murder, a doppelganger and a run for her life.

Thank you for taking the time to read The Girl. It can be a difficult read at times because child abuse is never a nice thing but throw in a doppelganger, a murderer and a tough as nails grandma and you've got a great story. For those of you who read the story earlier, I have done a re-write suggested by other writers. I hope it is a better read.

15 yr old Gwen's life takes a turn for the worst when her family is tragically killed in a car accident. Being the only one left, she moves to a strange town to live with her cousin and aunt unaware of the many dark and sinister secrets the small-town holds. Now armed with the supernatural ability to see ghosts, Gwen must take on the risks and challenges that come with being a seer. Evil is all around her, lurking in the shadows. Will she be able to save the souls of the innocent and the future of the ignorant? Even if such comes with a heavy price to pay... In short, I suck at descriptions. Just read the book if you like death and dark themes.
