"Most of us are the world's finest thrill-seekers you can find anywhere. Some of us hate our jobs, but we have to do them anyway. However we feel, this is our job. And I happen to be one of those people that loves it." = A story in which there is a society where it is acceptable for real people to test out new theme park rides. Real live human people. Not just weights and dummies. Actual people. People labeled "Expendables." People who don't matter. In which Gale Jennings is a thrill seeker who adores his job. He isn't afraid to die. In which Harper Kelly is an orphan who no longer cares. She could care less if she died on the job. In which Jess Ameranda is the daughter of billionares and the shame of her family. In which Jasper Normandy is a newbie who's confused and afraid. This isn't a story about uprising, it's a story about surviving while also living life to the fullest. = Death defying is our specialty.
