Anamaria "Mickey" Way, twin sister to Mikey Way and younger sister to Gerard Way, is on the verge of suicide. After she caught her boyfriend, who she loved very much, mind you, cheating on her, she just broke that fast. Recently, the only people she's been talking to are her brothers. Not her parents, not the teachers of her high school, not her friends. They weren't good friends to begin with anyway. One of them was the third party to her and her boyfriend's relationship.

Frank Iero is the new kid to St. Bernard's. He just happened to click with the Way brothers, join their band and along the way, he began to admire their sister, Mickey. She doesn't even talk to him, but he knows a lot. He hears her crying herself to sleep when he stays nights, he can her winces and groans of pain, but when he sees her, she's perfection. Wrists covered, tears dry. She doesn't speak. But her silence screams for help. All he wants to do is paint her wings and set her free.
