Glowing tides(-a wings of fire fanfic-)

Prologue:

My wings were sore,and my belly empty. I was searching for my brother,who went missing this morning.'where the hell could he have gone to?there aren't many places in ocean he could have fled,and for what reason did he leave us? I'll have to ask him if I find him.' As I was thinking,I didn't see the large shark fallowing me.
I swam deeper,and found a current to carry me;then I'd be able to rest a bit. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a large tree-like coral structure.'what the-' there,resting at the base,was my brother.'Beta!Beta I found him!' I swam a fast as I could,creating a disturbance in the water, waking him up."Riftfang! Why-why are you here?" He flashed illuminating the area around him gold."Looking for you! Why did you leave me?" I flashed back,saddened by the way he was looking at me. "I-I didn't mean to hurt your feelings by not telling you I was leaving,but-RIFTFANG! LOOK OUT!"
Just then,the shark that had been fallowing me lunged at my tail, sending a huge wave of pain and panic to shoot through my body. I twisted my body around and slashed the snout of the hungry fish. It released my tail and tried to swim away. I sank my teeth in its back, creating a large cloud of blood. I thrashed my head killing the foul creature. I tossed it away,and other sharks soon came to feast on the corpse. "Good riddance. Now,why did you leave me? I almost died!" He let out a sigh casing a cloud of bubbles to float to the surface."I-I'm sorry. I cannot tell you-" I shushed him, feeling the water become colder than before."You feel that? Why is it so cold all the sudden?" He shrugged and I looked around. There, by the bottom of the coral structure,was a egg. It had ice around it."There! By the bottom of the coral!" I pointed to it,and my brother swam up to it. I fallowed,and picked it up in my talons.
"Lets talk on the surface." We swam up and talked for a while on the beach with the egg.
