Evelin is a 16-year-old daughter of a Slovenian police Attache, and goes to a private school filled with arrogant rich kids. She has never had a kiss, she has never had a date, and she has trouble making friends, since she is extremely quiet because of her speech impairment - stuttering. When she was eleven she went through a special speech therapy - singing. 

When Evelin sings she feels like her voice finally represents her true self. 

One night she gets caught singing by the school bad boy Oliver, who just happens to be the boyfriend of her worst enemy - Sonja. He convinces Evelin to sign up for the national singing competition, and together they start sneaking out of the school, or at least until they get caught...
