A young girl who grew up most of her life alone has gotten used to not having people by her side. She would rather enjoy being on her own than to be with people that she can't be comfortable with. She tends to push away those who love her most because she's scared that they'll stop loving her once they see what she's truly like if she starts to open up. She had only opened up to her best friend Ella and her mother but no one else. She preserves her thoughts and emotions within herself and struggles to open up to others. When she meets the boy from her kindergarten class 20 years later, will he be the one that holds the key that will help her open up about herself or will he get pushed away just like everyone else?
