This is a piece I started that tells the story of boy who has infinite power. But with abilities like Blaise's comes a price; fear. Atomic Manipulation is not something to be messed around with. His life is superficial because no one truly trusts him. The Academy is in charge of him until Blaise turns 18 soon, and they'll do anything to keep him. Not to mention the group of people who brutally murder those with abilities is gaining power. 

So I started this story for NANOWRIMO and never got to far with it. All I have so far is less than one chapter, but I think it's pretty long. I need feedback to know if this is something worth continuing. I think it has potential!All Rights Reserved

A 2024 NaNoWriMo story "'I have to go!" I yell, before my feet take over and I'm shoving my way through the crowd. Eliza says something, but I can't hear her... I have to get away." || A Shifter, a humanoid creature that can take the form of any existing or imaginary being, lives among humans. For any other Shifter, this would be fine, and they could just take the form of a human. Super easy, right? For any other, maybe, but this one has lost control over their ability and is constantly changing into strange combinations with no way to stop it. They've lived with humans for seven years, wearing cloaks and keeping their eyes down to avoid unwanted attention. This worked fine, at least it did, until they literally bumped into Eliza, a girl their age. Luckily, their wonky powers shifted them into a creature that resembles a human, but it's bound to change eventually, and Eliza will learn the truth. And Eliza is the only friend they've had in a long time. Can the Shifter keep their origins a secret and stay in the only place that's ever felt like home? Or will everything slip through their fingers, just like it always has?

The Hawaiian Special Forces by WingedPanther73

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

I set the goal to 25,000 words, and told myself I'd write it during my 2 weeks holidays. Turned out 25,000 words weren't enough for the story I wanted to write, so I added 25,000 more: and this is Book 2. I want to write more chapters, but I had decided to keep to this word count, so, so be it. Also, this Wattpad version won't be exactly 25,000 words, because I'm unsure about Wattpad policy, so I auto-censured and cut out the NC scenes (they're part of Sun and Sea story, it hurts a lot... But I don't want their whole story to disappear either) I hope you'll like it! There will be a French version of it, too 😘🇲🇫

I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)
