This is a piece I started that tells the story of boy who has infinite power. But with abilities like Blaise's comes a price; fear. Atomic Manipulation is not something to be messed around with. His life is superficial because no one truly trusts him. The Academy is in charge of him until Blaise turns 18 soon, and they'll do anything to keep him. Not to mention the group of people who brutally murder those with abilities is gaining power.
So I started this story for NANOWRIMO and never got to far with it. All I have so far is less than one chapter, but I think it's pretty long. I need feedback to know if this is something worth continuing. I think it has potential!

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. I set the goal to 25,000 words, and told myself I'd write it during my 2 weeks holidays. Turned out 25,000 words weren't enough for the story I wanted to write, so I added 25,000 more: and this is Book 2. I want to write more chapters, but I had decided to keep to this word count, so, so be it. Also, this Wattpad version won't be exactly 25,000 words, because I'm unsure about Wattpad policy, so I auto-censured and cut out the NC scenes (they're part of Sun and Sea story, it hurts a lot... I have to get away." || A Shifter, a humanoid creature that can take the form of any existing or imaginary being, lives among humans. For any other Shifter, this would be fine, and they could just take the form of a human. Super easy, right? For any other, maybe, but this one has lost control over their ability and is constantly changing into strange combinations with no way to stop it. They've lived with humans for seven years, wearing cloaks and keeping their eyes down to avoid unwanted attention. This worked fine, at least it did, until they literally bumped into Eliza, a girl their age. Luckily, their wonky powers shifted them into a creature that resembles a human, but it's bound to change eventually, and Eliza will learn the truth. And Eliza is the only friend they've had in a long time. Can the Shifter keep their origins a secret and stay in the only place that's ever felt like home?
