She just went with it and had a fun time with her friend Cassandra. But when Cassandra's boyfriend comes with a boy named Adam, Skylynn's world is turned around. She instantly feels the butterflies and the steamy romance with this boy, but she doesn't let it show. She doesn't want love right now. All she wants to worry about is school and her friends and family. But after that night that they all hung out together, Skylynn and Adam got closer and closer as time flew by. One date suddenly turned into three dates. Then, they both fell in love with one another. And then one day Adam commits suicide. She doesn't know why he did so, nor why he would. Even though she was heart-broken and torn to pieces, she puts up this facade and acts strong. She acts like none of it bothers her and she goes on with her life. But even after she goes from good girl to bad, she misses Adam like crazy. How long will Skylynn be able to hold this bad girl image of herself before she finally breaks down? "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
