rapture 1. ecstatic joy or delight; joyful ecstasy. 2. often, raptures. an utterance or expression of ecstatic delight. - he was like a typo in my favorite book. many people have edited the story and molded it to the point of almost perfection- but there is one misprint that has gone unnoticed by millions. each time I read over this one mistake it becomes more prominent and I think maybe the author did it to convey a message I am not yet aware of.
