A Mermaid Tail (Nalu)

This is basically a story I created that describes a NaLu love story under the sea!

Lucy Heartfilia is the mermaid princess of the royal kingdom Regalia. Currently 19 years old, she believes that the whole kingdom adores her. Meanwhile she doesn't realize the bitter lives of some of her subjects.

Most citizens of Regalia resented King Jude. He had become cold and unforgiving after his wife's death.

She lives in the palace with her father, King Jude. Her mother died when she was at the age of 5. An assassin had broke through the royal defenses, and had attempted to murder Lucy. His name was Igneel.

Igneel had loved Layla Heartfilia ever since they were young mer. But when she married Jude, his heart was torn apart and he turned dark and unforgiving. When he released the arrow to Lucy's death, Layla had swam in front of her daughter and took the arrow for her.

Lucy's father was never the same again. He blamed little Lucy for Layla's death, and never showed his daughter any affection again.

Broken-hearted, Lucy grew up depending on levy and Erza. They supported Lucy through her struggles.

Lucy always had an adventurous heart from her mother. But, her father forbid her from leaving the palace doors. Propelled by the rebellious spirit inside of her, Lucy decides to leave the palace to explore her kingdom from the view of a subject.

Then as Lucy is wandering the streets one day, she realized the poverty that her subjects live in. A gang uncovers her disguise and attempts to capture her. In her rush to get away, she meets someone with the name of Natsu Dragneel that would change her life forever.
