A prayer rope is very spritual. It can be compared, in a way, to a Catholic's rosary, only the prayer is different. The most wonderful description of the Holy Spirit I have ever read in my bible is that of Comforter. I never understood much about Him. Neither did I have any intimacy with Him. The Holy Spirit was this mystical being that had incredible power. Of course, He does has power. In fact, He is the power of God. And yet, He has a personality just like we do. He is sensitive, just like we are. I never read anywhere where I was told not to grieve the Father or the Son, but the Scriptures do tell us not to grieve the Holy Spirit. He is special. He is innocent. And He yearns to have fellowship with us. Who is the Holy Spirit? Where does He dwell and what does He do in the life of the Believer? These are some of the questions we'll discover together as we meditate upon this book. And if there's anything you should take way from this reading, it's that, He is the Comforter.
