[Y/n], a citizen of a dystopian land called YouTube where the currency is exchanged for videos. With [Y/n] being the reclusive type and the unsuccessful (like most people in YouTube) she makes clickbait cancer just to get by on scraps. Unwillingly, she then gets tangled up in a rebellion group that's trying to change the unfair system by none other than the internet sensation himself, Pyrocynical. This book is a bit of a symbolic parody for how unfair and how difficult it is to become big on YouTube. Most of the citizens are "peasants" with nothing but rags and almost minimal electronics. Because of how bigger youtubers are pampered by companies and opportunities, the "bigger channels" are given more luxurious things and advanced technology. The "rebellion group" are the youtubers that even though they're pampered and have become successful, they still speak out against the "kings". Lastly, the use of "Kings" is a symbol for the corporation and how businesses are very bias to rather pass down a company to their children then give it to the hardest worker. Also this story is not a lemon, although it might come close or insinuate stuff. It is also not an ironic fanfic, it does have a plot. I also want to say that I respect the content that Pyrocynical uploads and that this is merely for entertainment. It also has very minimal cursing as requested by my friend. You do not have to know the other youtubers in the book to understand what is happening because I do try to explain and give character to each person.
