Nine year old Melody Kalia has died. As her parents weep and plunge into despair, Kalia prepares for her journey to her next life. When a bleak spectral train arrives to haul away her and all the other souls who have died today, she realizes something is horribly wrong. Kalia's soul is trapped between this life and the next, and she cannot receive divine judgement. She now fears for her life more than she ever did when she was alive. 
  
  There is a great evil aboard this train; a beast in a human's clothing who plans to subject the passengers to unspeakable horrors in order to further his own ultimate goal. Kalia must go through hell and back to save herself and thousands of passing souls aboard from the demented devourer. The blood brood pack. She is forced to stay and is made an omega. She still has an escape plan, though it's going to take time to execute. Once the alpha steps down and his son becomes alpha, the command keeping her there will be null and void. Plus with everyone distracted it will be the perfect time to escape. She just has to hope she can make it until then and that she doesn't meet her mate. If she does and he rejects her, all he'll will break loose because that will be the start of it all.
