"Little Princesses?" It still didn't make any sense...they never called us that. I looked down at the note once again. I'd read it so many times now that I knew it word for word, off by heart, but I kept looking, just in case I'd missed something. ~ Roxanne Hart's life was perfect. She had great friends, a great family, and had started attending the college she'd aspired to go to, a College of the Arts in New York. Singing was her passion. One day, tragedy shatters all her dreams. The police arrive at the door. They'd found her parents down by the riverside. That's when they gave her the note, the only possession found with their lifeless bodies, and for once in her life, things didn't make sense to Roxanne... After over a month of grieving, special counselling and various forms of therapy, Roxanne and her younger sister, Isabella, begin to accept the loss. They then move to Breezepoint, a seaside town in California, to live with their older cousin. Things start to get interesting when a bad boy is thrown into the mix and Roxy begins to experience things she never thought were possible for a 'good girl' like her. That's when things begin to unravel...that's when things begin to make sense. {A PURE WORK OF FICTION}

Echo Frost moves to a new town in California with her "seemingly" perfect family. On the outside, they appear well rounded and put together, but behind closed walls...let's just say a lot goes on after dark. For one, her mother is a sloppy drunk, unable to resist the temptation of flushing out the past, leaving Echo to single handedly parent her little brother. When she starts at her new school, bad luck seems to follow her everywhere as she has a run in with the school's most sought after bad boy.
