I am an air dragon, the last of my kind. I have few friends, the less others know about me the safer I'll be. My kind is nearly at extinction, I am scared.  I remember when my family were alive, and how they died. That's why I'm hiding, that's why I'm scared. Once, there were hundreds of us roaming every shade of the sky, and I am haunted with their deaths every waking moment of my life.

 Something is going to happen, I can feel it on the wind. Whatever it is I shall have to survive, for the name of my dragon, and many will die if I don't. For the wind will take vengeance, and there will be nothing in the way to stop it.All Rights Reserved

When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. A/n-The reader has the exact same powers Macaque has, like aquatic breathing, enhanced hearing, Shadow Manipulation, Shadow Cloning, Shadow Monkeys, Shadow Transportation, Shadow Hiding, Smoke Generation, and shape-shifting. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. It was already a horrible story riddled with many plot holes. And being stuck in it? It's even worse-especially as someone who wasn't even mentioned in the book because she was supposed to die early on. ~.~ This is a transmigration ACOTAR story set before Amarantha was sent as an emissary to Prythian. While the war over slavery has already occurred, I've altered the timeline and some details about the war's history. I also dislike the trope of a "truly evil" villain whose sole purpose is to justify the plot of a war or the extension of a series. With this story, I want to give the villain a backstory-a name and depth-saving him from the same mediocre depiction of a tyrant.
