Side Story to The Twins, it's an alternate reality to The Throne. Read if you want, but I suggest you read The Twins first so it makes sense.

Nia is a normal cat shapeshifter, but with huge problems weighing on her. Kill her aunt, or fight to change someone that is extremely evil, and probably can't be changed? She sides with her conscience, and gives her aunt a choice, but whether it's the right one, she will soon find out.
This time, her aunt doesn't just want to capture her. She wants Nia's twin sister, Ivy, as well. The urge for power is a strong force, one that takes over too many people.
Saber, Nia's connection mate, will do anything for the woman he loves, and her annoying twin sister. But, it gets them all in tricky situations, and huge danger. Who knows how they'll survive this set of problems.

Sometimes it's a lot more than that. Expressly when the moon goddess comes out aka the moon. It's the same as full moon to humans but it's a lot stronger to us. There are only a few things that can kill us which is anything do with silver. May was always the more cold one distancing herself as a way to prevent pain, while Fea sparkles with a childlike joy wherever she goes (maybe because she's six). But Fea had never once had a moment of peace, vomiting blood, passing out, and that horrible uncontrollable shaking. It's becoming fatal. but after everything May has lost, her dreams, her time, her true love, she can't risk losing her sister too. but would helping her take her own life or just make both of them suffer? I was inspired to write this story off of a big event that happened in my life, I won't share to many details for privacy reasons, but for about a year I was very close with my stepsister, then some events occurred and I was never allowed to see her again. so, to pair with my love for dark fantasy, real world experiences, and desire to write, I give you To Heal Is To Hurt. enjoy!Completa

I highly suggest you read The Twins- Book One before you read this, so then it'll make more sense. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Antonia, or Nia, is the 18 year old shapeshifting Dark Earth Queen, but with no memories and a lot of problems. One thing never fails to brighten her day though, a strange green-eyed man. She decides to assign him to her personal guard, since she feels that she can trust him. She has this need to be near him, and that need brings things into her life that are both good and bad. 18 year old cat shapeshifter Saber is guarding the woman he loves, and she doesn't even recognize him. It's like a punch to the chest every time he sees her, and it's like she's looking through him. But, she did immediately assign him onto her personal guard, so she has to still have feelings for him, right? He tries to think positively, but it's hard. He never gives up though, not on her. Twin sister to Nia, Ivy is faring no better. Stress might as well be her middle name! Secrets are piling up around her and suffocating her, and she has a strong case of avoiding-my-boyfriend-itis. She's always researching in the library, trying to find a way to help her sister with memory problems. Dealing with that, as well as the pitying looks of her friends, piece of cake!....
