[Tempest Series #3]

"It matters not how straight the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." --William Ernest Henley, Invictus

With the turn of the seasons comes a new chapter in Tessa Brennan's story as she and her companions begin college in New Rome. To Tessa, it feels like she's finally catching a break after the pain and turmoil she'd been forced to endure for four years. However, she couldn't be farther from the truth. Tessa finds herself subject to a new world of threats, with a surprising enemy leading the charge. With help from yet another shocking source, Tessa and her friends from both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter find themselves putting out the fires that their enemy ignites, before the inferno can blaze into all-out war. But with the words of the Oracle of Delphi still haunting Tessa's every move, will their efforts prevail? Or as the Great Prophecy states, will they witness the world in smoke in flame?

Caliginosity [ Leo Valdez ]

41 parts Complete

I said I wouldn't post this, but here we are. (Updated summary) Percy Jackson has gone missing. Olympus has closed. Great, time for a new quest. Rachel's Prophecy of Eight has begun after three new demigods have been picked up across the country. The new campers, and a slightly less newer one, must go on a quest to rescue the queen of the heavens. When they return, they realize their issue is bigger than they thought. They must go to the newly discovered Roman camp, pick up three other demigods, begin the quest to Rome, lose some team members in Tartaurs, close the Doors of Death, and inevitably wake Gaea. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. The diety Apate seems to want things to go her way. In doing so, pain is multiplied, and Livana is forced into her suffering. (Story cover by myself)
