We all have run into them sometime in our life. But being one is far different.
One time ago there was a girl named Onyx. She was a wee little thing but her personality was greatly terrifying. Onyx cared not for human life and disposed of any who glanced at her wrong...perhaps this is what led her to do the unthinkable. Her hair was blacker than the night sky and her skin glowed like the pale light of the moon. Any who saw her told stories on how her eyes were like the ice in the north and cut right through the heart. Perhaps she regretted all the lives she had taken...or maybe she was murdered...but one night Onyx was found dead in her bedroom of the castle she lived in. Her own blood staining her white night gown.
It is said that Onyx was given a choice, to spend eternity in hell or an eternity paying for her crimes in the living world.
No one knows what one she chose and so her story remains alive until her choice is certain.
(This is a Black Butler Fanfic and is based off of the Manga. Im not good at descriptions but I hope you enjoy the story.)

The structure of the chapters is based on Dante's Inferno/The Devine Comedy. I started this around the same time I drafted "Letters From Iroh," when I was in my first year of college/university. I was reading the book for a Humanities course at the time and writing this helped me to better remember the order of all the layers of Hell and the corresponding sins/punishments/etc. Look at that, anime helped my grade! The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first. So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it. Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were...
