It's the first of September 2017. Hermione is at platform 9 ¾ with Ron, Harry and Ginny. James, Albus and Rose are going to Hogwarts and the family is waving them goodbye. Suddenly, Hermione sees a known face. Draco Malfoy is staring at her. He has changed so much, his face looks older and strained. He came to wave goodbye his kid too, Scorpius.
